    • Current Status of FLSA, Wage & Hour Laws and Minimum Wage
      • Karl Butterer and Tony Dalimonte will delve into what employers need to start planning for now with the stay of the 2018 ballot initiative set to end on February 19, 2023 that could fundamentally change minimum wage and the state’s paid medical leave laws.
      • If the current stay is not extended, how much will employers have to pay its employees and how many hours of paid sick leave will they need to provide?
    • Talent Recruitment and Retention Policies
      • Matt Fedor and Rob Hamor will explore trending topics, including enforceability of non-compete agreements and ghost job posting issues.
    • Compliance and Regulation Issues
      • Mark Koerner will discuss leave issues, including requirements under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) & the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and how to stay compliant in the myriad of changes in the law.
    • Workers’ Compensation
      • Alicia Birach will discuss workers' compensation premiums and other issues such as:
        Are remote work-related injuries covered?
    • Labor Law & Rapid Fire Look at DEI
      • Mike Blum and Cliff Hammond will give a look at any current issues under federal and state labor laws and mandatory arbitration issues.
      • A brief overview of DEI will also be provided, including a discussion of what it is and why it matters in the workplace.
