Foster Swift Announces 2009 Executive Committee & Practice Group Leader Appointments

The Michigan law firm of Foster, Swift, Collins & Smith, P.C. announces the election of its 2009 Executive Committee and Practice Group Leaders. Gary J. McRay, a shareholder in the firm’s Lansing office has been reelected President and as such chairs the firm’s Executive Committee. McRay practices health care law. Michael D. Sanders, a shareholder in the Lansing office, Lawrence Korolewicz, a shareholder in the firm’s Grand Rapids office, and Alan T. Rogalski, a shareholder in the firm’s Farmington Hills office have been elected Vice Presidents. Sanders practices workers’ compensation law, Korolewicz practices primarily in the area of defense litigation; and Rogalski practices health care law. Scott A. Chernich, a shareholder in the Lansing office has been elected to serve as the firm’s Treasurer. Chernich practices primarily in the areas of bankruptcy and financial institutions law. Brian G. Goodenough, a shareholder in the Lansing office, has been elected Secretary. Goodenough focuses his practice in the areas of municipal law and workers’ compensation defense.

The firm has also named its 2009 Practice Group Leaders. The Administrative and Municipal Practice Group will be led by Steven H. Lasher; the Banking, Finance and Real Estate Practice Group will be led by Randall L. Harbour; the Business & Corporate Practice Group will be led by Matt G. Hrebec; the Commercial Litigation Practice Group will be led by David M. Lick; the General Litigation Practice Group is led by Scott L. Mandel and Paul J. Millenbach. Jennifer Kildea Dewane leads the Health Care Practice Group; the Employment, Labor & Benefits Practice Group is led by Stephen J. Lowney; Douglas J. Mielock leads the Trusts & Estates Practice Group and the Workers’ Compensation Practice Group is led by Michael D. Sanders.
