Foster Swift Announces 2008 Best Lawyers In America

The Michigan law firm of Foster, Swift, Collins & Smith, P.C. is proud to announce that twenty-six of the firm’s attorneys statewide have been selected for inclusion in the 2009 edition of Best Lawyers in America.  A publication of Woodward & White, Best Lawyers in America is one of the oldest and most respected peer review publications in the legal profession.

Of particular note, Douglas A. Mielock has been the only Michigan attorney selected by Best Lawyers in America for his work in the area of Elder Law.  Mielock is also included as a Best Lawyer for his Trusts & Estates practice.

Charles E. Barbieri and Webb A. Smith are also distinguished by their exclusive selection as the only two Michigan attorneys named to the 2009 Best Lawyers for their work in Natural Resources law.

In the firm’s Lansing office, twenty-one attorneys, more than any other Lansing firm, have been selected for the 2009 edition.  Allan J. Claypool has been included in Best Lawyers for twenty-five years for his Tax Law and Trusts & Estates practice.  Stephen I.
