Alex will discuss and answer general questions about the criminal justice system including: 

  • The difference between misdemeanors and felonies in Michigan.  
  • How the Michigan Sentencing Guidelines are scored and the mechanics of a sentencing. 
  • How Alex approaches serious cases and how the guidelines can be utilized to achieve optimal client outcomes. 

Alex has tried numerous cases from drunk driving to murder, and currently represents a criminal defendant charged in relation to the Flint Water Crisis. Alex has also represented over 150 survivors of sexual abuse who sought civil and criminal accountability from their perpetrators.
