WEBINAR: Parliamentary Procedure: How To Run A Successful Meeting
This webinar sponsored by the Michigan Cooperative Directors Association will provide a primer on parliamentary procedure to help attendees gain knowledge and understanding in order to attain a level of comfort in the basics of making motions and voting on the matters before them. Topics to be covered include: the difference between a motion and a resolution; the requirement of a roll call vote; the definition of a quorum and handling motions. We will also cover the basics of the Open Meetings Act, including notice, minutes, and public comment rules.
