Grand Rapids, Mich. – Owned and operated by myTEAM TRIUMPH’s (MTT) West Michigan Chapter, the Tri del Sol triathlon event will be held on July 21, 2019. The Foster Swift law firm will be the presenting sponsor for the third year. Located on the western shores of Barlow Lake, just south of Grand Rapids, the Tri del Sol triathlon will once again be held at the YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin; utilizing the sandy beaches and rolling bike & run courses.
The goal of Tri del Sol is raising funds to support local charities and continue myTEAM TRIUMPH’s mission of “enhancing the health and well-being of individuals with disabilities by fostering lasting, authentic relationships through the teamwork environment of endurance athletics.”
The West Michigan chapter of myTEAM TRIUMPH has been connected with Foster Swift for 10 years, beginning with a collaboration at the 2009 Metro Health Grand Rapids Marathon that will extend to this October’s race. In addition, Foster Swift sponsors MTT’s VIP expansion of ‘Angels’. ‘Angels’ are athletes that push/pull the team Captains during the events.
Foster Swift identifies with myTEAM TRIUMPH’s mission of nurturing lasting relationships, promoting teamwork and increasing community involvement, such as helping MTT acquire a trailer to store and transport their equipment.
