Professional Development Day 2013 on Public-Private Partnerships

LANSING, Mich. – David Lick, a shareholder in Foster Swift’s Lansing Office,spoke at the Michigan Construction Industry’s Professional Development Day for 2013.  The event took place on April 11th, at the VisTaTech Center in Livonia, Michigan. The courses are aimed to provide professional information to Michigan constructors and have been approved for continuing education credits by the American Institute of Constructors (AIC). Specifically, Lick presented a session of Public-Private Partnerships.  Additional information for the event can be found here (We have identified that the following link is no longer active, and it has been removed).

David Lick has experience in the areas of Finance, Design Build and Construction Law, Commercial Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Public Private Partnership Law.  These experiences have helped him to develop many state of the art P3 projects.  He maintains memberships with the National Council for Public Private Partnerships, the Canadian U.S. Business Association, the Owners and Developers Association, and the Michigan Agri Business Association.  Lick frequently presents on these business topics and has done so internationally, including in Canada and Romania.

David Lick is adjunct faculty at Michigan State University for MSU Canadian studies and is a member of the Great Lakes International Trade and Transport Hub.  He received his B.A. in Accounting from Michigan State University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Michigan.  He is recognized by the Best Lawyers of America and the Michigan Super Lawyers.
