Criminal Law

Overview

Sometimes good people make poor choices. Our criminal defense team provides aggressive, professional representation for individuals facing everything from traffic offenses and municipal ordinance violations to serious felony charges. We defend clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts, and we represent clients in administrative matters involving professional licensing and driver’s license appeals. From the first investigation through final resolution, we work to protect your rights, minimize the impact on your life, and pursue the strongest possible outcome.

We help clients address criminal matters across a wide range of situations, including:

  • DUI’s and other substance related matters
  • Driver’s license suspensions, revocations, and restoration matters
  • University-related consequences of criminal charges or convictions
  • Sexual misconduct charges
  • Fraud, embezzlement and workplace misconduct charges
  • Family law implications arising from criminal charges
  • Probation violation matters
  • Professional licensing consequences and restoration matters
  • Expungement and other pathways to move forward

A criminal charge can affect far more than a court case. It can disrupt your work, your family, your education, and your peace of mind. We help clients navigate those broader consequences with practical guidance and access to trusted professionals when needed, including mental health providers, substance abuse counselors, and other support resources. Our goal is not only to defend your case, but also to help you move forward with confidence and stability.

We understand that discretion matters. Our attorneys work professionally and strategically with prosecutors, courts, and law enforcement to address issues efficiently and effectively, always with an eye toward protecting your reputation, career, and long-term interests. We have helped many clients reduce the personal and professional damage that criminal allegations can cause.

Losing your driving privileges can jeopardize your job, your family responsibilities, and your independence. We represent clients facing Michigan driver’s license sanctions and restoration proceedings, working to preserve or restore driving privileges whenever possible and helping clients take the right steps toward a successful outcome.

We also represent clients in sophisticated white collar criminal matters in both state and federal court, including allegations involving fraud, embezzlement, and workplace misconduct. In these high-stakes cases, we combine careful analysis, experienced advocacy, and access to qualified experts to challenge the evidence and build a strong defense.

If you are facing criminal allegations or believe you may be under investigation, the steps you take now can make a critical difference in your outcome. Contact our criminal defense team promptly to protect your rights, your reputation, and your future with experienced counsel that is aggressive, discreet, and professional from the outset.
