Five New Associates Join Foster Swift After Swearing In

LANSING, Mich. — Foster Swift Collins & Smith, PC welcomes five new associate attorneys: Rachel A. Conner, Lisa V. Gallagher, Olivia K. Reid, Allison N. Shudark and Badri Yono Jr. to the firm. All participated in the firm’s summer associate program in 2024.

Rachel is working in the Lansing office as a member of the Trusts & Estates practice group where she will practice in general estate planning matters, estate and gift tax planning, trust and estate administration and litigation. She is an alumna of Michigan State University’s College of Law and Indiana University Bloomington.

Lisa joins the Litigation practice group in the firm’s Grand Rapids office. She will be handling a wide range of civil litigation matters including insurance defense matters, no-fault, premises liability, and construction disputes. Lisa received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Olivia is joining the Business & Tax practice group in the Lansing office. She will be helping clients with entity formation, employee benefits, business & succession planning, contracts, non-profits, and other day-to-day legal issues facing businesses. Olivia is an alumnus of both Michigan State University and Michigan State University’s College of Law.

Allison joins the Litigation practice group in Lansing where she will be assisting with commercial litigation, insurance law and defense and no-fault. Allison graduated with high honors from Michigan State University and received her Juris Doctorate magna cum laude from Michigan State University’s College of Law.

Badri joins the Business & Tax practice in the firm’s Southfield office, focusing on legal matters associated with entity formation, business succession planning, contracts, and start-ups. Badri earned a B.A. in Political Science and Government from Oakland University prior to receiving his Juris Doctorate magna cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
