Overview

McKenna Rivers handles matters in energy, environmental, employment law, and business and commercial law. Prior to her legal career, she served as an environmental geoscientist for an environmental consulting company.

McKenna attended Michigan State University College of Law. During her time in law school, McKenna served as Senior Articles Editor for the Animal and Natural Resource Law Review Editorial Board. She also served as Vice President of MSU College of Law Women’s Law Caucus. Also while in law school, McKenna worked as a Law Clerk at an engineering firm in North Dakota assisting in employment matters and corporate policies. She also worked as a compliance intern for the Office of Audit, Risk and Compliance at Michigan State University.

McKenna holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geoscience from Michigan State University. She is a member of the Michigan Association of Professional Landmen (MAPL) and the Michigan Oil and Gas Association (MOGA). She grew up in Southwest Michigan and now lives in Lansing.
