Laura A. Kane is an attorney with Foster Swift's business & tax practice group in the firm's Grand Rapids office. Laura concentrates her practice on corporate matters including counsel on organization formation, transactions, real estate, and civil litigation matters.

She is committed to helping clients avoid protracted disputes through early case assessment and strategic dispute resolution. Laura brings over two decades of experience in the legal industry to Foster Swift, having started as a certified paralegal prior to earning her juris doctor. Laura previously spent 18 years assisting on complex matters in litigation and corporate practice. This foundation has given her a pragmatic, client‑focused perspective to find creative, efficient solutions.

In her free time, Laura enjoys playing piano, traveling, hiking, and spending time with her husband and two children.
