Business & Litigation Attorneys Join Foster Swift in Grand Rapids and Southfield

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Foster Swift Collins & Smith, PC welcomes attorneys Laura A. Kane and Allison M. Morris.

Based in the firm’s Grand Rapids office, Laura concentrates her practice on corporate matters including counsel on organization formation, transactions, real estate, and civil litigation matters.

Laura brings over two decades of experience in the legal industry to Foster Swift, having previously spent 18 years as a paralegal prior to earning her juris doctor, assisting on complex matters in litigation and corporate practice.

Allison is in the firm’s Southfield office, representing her clients through all phases of insurance defense litigation. She concentrates her practice on matters in Third and First-Party No-Fault litigation, transportation and insurance law. Prior to attending law school, Allison had previously spent a number of years on an insurance defense team as a legal assistant and law clerk.

Both Laura and Allison received their juris doctors from Cooley Law School, and both received their undergraduate degrees from Michigan State University.
