Employer Guidance for a Lawful and Safe Re-Opening

As the Governor rolls out the ‘MI Safe Start' plan to reopen Michigan's economy, many employers are grappling with questions on how to safely (physical and liability-wise) bring back employees and start the trek to the “new normal.” To assist in the process, attorneys from Foster Swift’s employment law team are presenting a free webinar to discuss navigating the end of shelter in place orders, preparing for when employees can come back to the workplace and strategies to minimize risk. Questions covered include:

  • What businesses can reopen and what employees can return to work under existing Executive Orders?
  • What physically needs to be done to prepare the workplace and what policies and processes need to be implemented before employees return?
  • What can employers do to minimize the risk of potential liability and, ultimately, lawsuits?

A question and answer session will follow the presentation. Webinar details and registration are below.
