Overview
Amanda "Amy" Marinkovski is a member of the firm's Finance, Real Estate & Bankruptcy practice group, focusing on real estate litigation, probate litigation and trusts and estates. Based in Southfield, her experience includes civil litigation and assisting clients in a variety of matters, namely real estate disputes involving commercial and residential property, and probate matters such as will and trust disputes, from initial consultation through resolution and when necessary, trial.
Amy previously served as an intern for the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Michigan. Before her time at the United States Attorney's Office, Amy also gained valuable experience as an extern in the Criminal Appellate Division at the Michigan Department of Attorney General and as a Student Clinician in the Chance at Childhood Clinic.
Amy received her Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University (MSU) and Juris Doctor from Michigan State University's College of Law. During her time at MSU's College of Law, she was a competitor at the National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare and Adoption Law and also received the Jurisprudence Award in Advocacy.
