Overview
Amanda "Amy" Marinkovski focuses on estate planning and the related areas of probate and trust administration and fiduciary and probate litigation. She also has a niche in commercial real estate transactions and disputes. Based in the Southfield office, she joined the firm in (2025) with seven years of hands-on litigation experience managing a full load of probate cases involving hotly contested will and trust disputes and real estate disputes involving commercial and residential property. She handles her cases from initial consultation through resolution, including trial when necessary.
Amy has expanded her practice beyond litigation to include the planning side. She now devotes half her time working with families and individuals helping them achieve peace of mind by creating comprehensive estate plans that reflect their values and protect their loved ones.
Amy received her Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University and Juris Doctor from Michigan State University's College of Law. During law school she thrived on the challenge of thinking on her feet, including competing in national moot court competitions and receiving the Jurisprudence Award in Advocacy. She also worked as a law clerk in the United States Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Michigan.
Amy lives in a house divided: her husband bleeds maize and blue, she proudly wears green and white, and their daughter is lovingly hugged in both directions. When not working or cheering on the Spartans, you may find Amy trying out new local restaurants with her family and friends.
