Overview

Megan Cochrane is a paralegal with Foster Swift's Business & Tax practice group in the firm's Lansing office. She assists attorneys with a wide variety of matters, including those in:

  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Business contracts
  • Entity selection and organizational planning
  • Non-profit formations
  • Financing transactions
  • Real estate transactions

In addition to supporting attorneys within the Business & Tax practice group at the firm, Megan also has many years of experience assisting attorneys with Estate Planning, including the drafting of Trusts, Wills and Powers of Attorney, as well as assisting attorneys in alternative dispute resolution, including, but not limited to matters involving medical malpractice/wrongful death, no-fault, probate matters, and employment discrimination.

Megan received her B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Microscopy from Central Michigan University. Currently, Megan is a council member and Chair-Elect for the Paralegal/Legal Assistant section of the State Bar of Michigan. She is also a co-chair for the Ingham County Bar Association Paralegal/Legal Assistant section.
