Foster Swift Elects Two New Shareholders for 2026
LANSING, Mich. –The shareholders of Foster Swift Collins & Smith, P.C. have elected two attorneys to shareholders as the firm enters 2026: Alaina M. Nelson and Gabrielle C. Lawrence.
Alaina is a member of the firm’s Trusts and Estates Practice Group. Alaina works with clients on general estate planning matters, estate and gift tax planning, estate and trust administration, and international estate planning. Alaina first joined Foster Swift in 2018, participating in the firm’s summer associate program and returned in 2019 after graduating from Michigan State University’s College of Law.
Gabrielle practices in the firm’s Lansing office and serves family law clients across mid-Michigan in a wide variety of matters, from straightforward divorces to adoption and other complicated family situations such as custody, parenting time and support issues. In the area of estate planning, she specializes in probate, estate planning, and trust administration, and has helped clients navigate the ever-changing area of federal estate taxes.
