Dernovshek, has been selected by her peers and is listed for the first time in the 2026 edition of Best Lawyers® "Ones to Watch". Amanda is recognized for her work in Business Organizations (including LLCs and Partnerships), Employee Benefits (ERISA) Law, and Tax Law.

Amanda practices out of the firm’s Lansing office where she focuses on issues related to employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), non-qualified deferred compensation plans, qualified retirement plans, and general business planning. She also assists the Firm’s mergers and acquisitions team. Amanda co-hosts a monthly podcast titled Businesswomen Talking, which provides a platform for discussing a number of legal topics that businesswomen face.

“Ones to Watch” awards are given to attorneys that are early in their careers, for outstanding professional excellence in private practice in the U.S. Recipients typically have been in practice for 5-9 years. As with Best Lawyers®, recipients are selected through an extensive process and inclusions are merited when attorneys receive high-enough voter feedback from their peers.
