Speaking Engagements

Setting Up Your Own Practice

Julie Fershtman is a speaker at the annual New Lawyers Conference, a two-day conference co-sponsored by the Eastern District of Michigan Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan Young Lawyers Section. This conference has been taking place for 50 years. Each year, numerous Michigan law firms participate. In addition, participation is particularly strong from judges in the Eastern District of Michigan Federal Court as well as the Wayne County Circuit Court.

The seminar begins on January 27, 2026. Fershtman speaks on the second day, Wednesday, January 28, 2026, and her topic is: "Setting Up Your Own Practice." During her presentation, Fershtman will discuss legal marketing, practice development, and useful resources for attorneys starting out, whether on their own or within a law firm.
