Julie Fershtman, a shareholder in Foster Swift’s Southfield office, has been selected to speak at the 2023 International Risk Management Institute (IRMI) Agribusiness Conference (“AgriCon”) in Sacramento, California on February 7, 2023. Her topics are: “When Personal and Commercial Equine Operations Intersect: Keeping UWs and Agents a Step Ahead” and “Case Studies: Lessons We can Learn from 3 Boarding Stable Lawsuits.”  Fershtman’s speaking engagements span 29 states on topics of risk management, liability, and insurance law.

Fershtman focuses her practice on business litigation, insurance law, and equine law. She has tried cases before juries in 4 states and is author of 4 books, with 2 of them published by the ABA. A past president of the State Bar of Michigan, Michigan Super Lawyers listed her as one of the “Top 100 Lawyers in Michigan” for the past few years.
