Foster Swift's involvement in the community doesn't stop with our attorneys.  While they may not serve on executive boards, Foster Swift staff still finds ways to help community organizations.  One of those ways is our "Casual for a Cause" program.  On several Fridays throughout the year, Foster Swift staff is permitted to wear jeans for a minimum donation to a charitable organization of the firm's choosing.  Past organizations have included the Capital Area Literacy Coalition, Haiti Relief Efforts, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Community & Sustainability

Part of what makes our clients loyal is our attorneys’ focus on doing what it takes to get to the end-result.  Adding value is part of our firm’s culture and heritage, whether it is on behalf of a client or the communities in which we live.

That is why our attorneys are so effective in the community organizations in which they are involved——both as team-players and officers.  Our attorneys are currently officers and active members of over two dozen organizations, boards and commissions throughout the state.  These range from professional and trade groups such as the Michigan Chemical Council to purely charitable organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan.
