Nicolas Camargo focuses his practice in on probate matters including in probate litigation, will and trust contests, estate planning, and probate administration. He also handles general litigation matters. He has represented mid-sized family-owned companies in the areas of business formation, succession planning review of human resources documents, review of company employee manuals, representation in mergers and acquisitions, stock sale purchases, and asset sale purchases. Nicolas also serves as a part-time magistrate in the 52/3 District Court in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
Before entering private practice, Nicolas served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney at the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office where he gained recognition for his courtroom advocacy as he litigated a broad range of matters, ranging from misdemeanors to high felonies. He also worked in conjunction with several state agencies, such as the Michigan Department of Human Services and the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.
Nicolas attended Michigan State University for his legal education and earned his undergraduate degree at Marquette University.
