A member of the General Litigation practice group, Donshur Oliver concentrates his practice on Insurance Defense. He clerked with the firm before becoming an associate attorney. He works primarily in the Southfield office.
Donshur has experience with assisting in complex insurance coverage litigation, and writes motions for dispositions; assists with debt collections; and drafts notice letters and complaints. Prior to joining the firm, Donshur served as a legal extern at the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office and at the Michigan Department of the Attorney General. He also acted as a law clerk for the Department of the Navy and another local law firm. Before joining the legal sector, Donshur worked with Bank of America and Verizon Wireless.
Donshur earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law, where he won the Jurisprudence Achievement Award for Client Interviewing and Counseling. Before transferring to MSU, he attended Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School. There, he was the Associate Editor of the school's Journal of Practical and Clinical Law.
Donshur is active in the Lansing Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and enjoys volunteering for the American Red Cross.
