Securities Mediation Services Offered By Scott Forbush

Scott Forbush is a litigator in the firm's Lansing office where he focuses his practice on alternative dispute resolution, primarily concentrated in the financial services industry. Scott also has experience as a business consultant, serving a variety of clients including complex, national organizations, law practices and state agencies.

Scott returned to Foster Swift in 2021 after having spent the last 15-plus years serving as litigation counsel to one of the country's leading annuity and insurance providers along with one of their sister financial service companies. In this capacity, Scott served in the parallel positions of Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Vice President: Investigations, Regulatory Enforcement and Litigation. 

Having never lost contact with his previous firm, Scott had previously been a trial attorney with Foster Swift from 1993-2005. He prosecuted and defended civil actions including no-fault first and third party actions, complex commercial litigation, product liability, business torts, contract and warranty actions, wrongful death, real property disputes and declaratory judgment actions.

Prior to first joining Foster Swift, Scott served as a prosecuting attorney for the State of Michigan.
