Overview
DeVaughn Swanson is an associate in the firm's Litigation and Business Practice Groups in the firm's Southfield office.
Prior to joining Foster Swift as a summer associate in 2019, DeVaughn served as Judicial Clerk to Chief Justice Harold Melton for the Georgia Supreme Court.
Before attending graduate and law school, DeVaughn was a business consultant where he consulted multi-billion-dollar organizations on geographic ecommerce expansion projects. Most recently, he was a Corporate Executive Fellow at Chick-fil-A Corporate Headquarters where he assisted the CEO and Chick-fil-A Foundation Executive Director with internal and external strategic initiatives.
In addition to receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law, DeVaughn received his Masters from Duke University and his Bachelors from Morehouse College in Atlanta where he graduated Cum Laude and was an Oprah Winfrey Scholar.
