
Overview
Rob Hamor is a dedicated business attorney with extensive experience representing Michigan municipalities, firearm manufacturers, distributors, and retailers, and others in the firearms industry in various business, regulatory, and real estate matters. With a thorough understanding of federal and state regulations, Rob has provided legal counsel on various ITAR and EAR matters, manufacturing and distribution agreements, NFA matters, FFL matters, OFAC and SDN screening, and day-to-day general business law matters.
While Rob does not represent those charged with firearm-related crimes, he maintains relationships with criminal defense attorneys who provide such services.

- Corporate counsel for several firearm-related publishing companies;
- Buyer’s counsel for the acquisition of U.S. Navy supplier;
- Corporate counsel for several FFLs in day-to-day business and regulatory matters;
- Represented local law enforcement department with respect to alleged violations of the NFA by current and former department personnel.
- Represented local law enforcement departments with respect to CPL and purchase permit issuance matters.
- Drafted use-of-force and firearm-related policies for various businesses.
