Overview
Lino Taormina is a litigator in the firm's Southfield office where he primarily represents insurance carriers in a variety of matters, including:
- First-party, No-Fault suits
- Third-party auto negligence suits, and
- Insurance coverage disputes, including those involving the Michigan Assigned Claims Plan (MACP).
His litigation experience also includes:
- Construction defect suits
- Premises liability suits
- Large loss pre-suit investigations
- A variety of tort and contract litigation
Lino received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2019. While attending law school, he served as law clerk to the Hon. Daniel S. White, 38th Circuit Court of Michigan. Prior to that he received his B.S. in Accounting from Adrian College where he was also a player and co-captain on the Men's Soccer team. He was also the Sports/Managing Editor of Adrian College’s student newspaper, The College World.
