Round 2: Recent Changes to the Payroll Protection Program

The Economic Aid Act became law on December 27, 2020 and made a number of notable changes to the Payroll Protection Program (PPP). Congress not only enabled businesses to receive a second PPP loan, but also changed the rules related to forgivable expenses for Draw 1 and Draw 2 loans. This webinar will cover:

  • Eligibility requirements for Draw 2 PPP loans,
  • Changes to the tax treatment of PPP loan proceeds and related expenses,
  • Expanded categories of eligible expenses and,
  • Other miscellaneous but notable changes to the Payroll Protection Program.

This webinar will help businesses determine whether they should seek a Draw 2 PPP loan and whether the changes to Draw 1 loans require any action. A link to a video recording of the presentation along with a digital copy of the slides will be sent to registrants following the webinar.
