Round 2: Recent Changes to the Payroll Protection Program
The Economic Aid Act became law on December 27, 2020 and made a number of notable changes to the Payroll Protection Program (PPP). Congress not only enabled businesses to receive a second PPP loan, but also changed the rules related to forgivable expenses for Draw 1 and Draw 2 loans. This webinar will cover:
- Eligibility requirements for Draw 2 PPP loans,
- Changes to the tax treatment of PPP loan proceeds and related expenses,
- Expanded categories of eligible expenses and,
- Other miscellaneous but notable changes to the Payroll Protection Program.
