CTA Reporting Requirements on Hold...Again?

December was a whirlwind of flip-flopping and conflicting developments concerning the reporting requirements of the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA). Confusion abounds for businesses about what their responsibilities are, if any, under the CTA in 2025.

On December 23, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals overturned the prior December 3 nationwide injunction of the CTA with a new filing deadline. Then, just days later, the Fifth Circuit Court merits panel reversed the motion panel’s stay and reinstated the nationwide injunction. Are you confused on what to do yet? Many are.

Join us for our first 2nd Wednesday of 2025 as we try to clear the air on the latest status of the CTA:

Moderator Rob Hamor welcomes business attorney Amanda Dernovshek as she discusses the latest developments concerning the CTA.

  • Should businesses still be preparing to file a report even with the current injunction in place?
  • Are there currently any deadlines in place and for which businesses?

Tune in to find out!
