Foster Swift will be among the prominent sponsors as the Ingham County Sobriety Court Foundation hosts its 6th annual breakfast fundraiser on Friday, October 20th. The foundation's long-term goal is to help support local court participants in their recovery by helping to alleviate everyday stressors that may hinder their progress such as assisting in substance abuse counseling fees.

This year's guest speaker is West Huddleston, the former CEO for the National Association of Drug Court Professionals and the current Vice President/General Manager for SCRAM systems, a leading manufacturer of integrated alcohol and location monitoring technology and offender management software for the criminal justice system.

In addition, West has authored 22 publications, testified numerous times before Congress, and has appeared on national television and radio including CNN's Piers Morgan Live and NPR radio.

“Sobriety Court has a positive impact on so many people,” say Ingham County Sobriety Court Executive Director Jerre Cory. “People always ask me ‘what can I do to make a difference?', I tell them to attend our annual breakfast, learn more and make a financial contribution so we can continue to offer services. You are not helpless in the fight against addiction. We do make a difference.”
