Foster Swift Attorney Scott Storey remembers when he and former Foster Swift Attorney David Aldrich became friends 39 years ago.

"I knew him before he even became a lawyer," Storey recalls. "He was my best friend. David was a great person, friend and dedicated lawyer."

David passed away roughly ten years ago and ever since, Albion College, where David received his undergraduate degree, has honored David's memory by hosting the David H. Aldrich Speaker Forum in Law, Justice and Society. The Gerald R. Ford Institute for Leadership in Public Policy and Service and President Mauri Ditzler put the event together each year. The public is invited to this year's event on Thursday, April 13, 2017.

David came to Foster Swift in the summer of 1978, where he was part of the litigation department and specialized in malpractice cases. In addition, David represented farmers and stray voltage cases.
