Foster Swift attorney Robert Easterly has been elected to Vice President of the Davis-Dunnings Bar Association (DDBA.) Easterly formerly served as the association’s treasurer.
Founded in 1981, the DDBA is recognized as a special purpose bar by the State Bar of Michigan, providing support to African-American attorneys in Mid-Michigan through networking and professional development opportunities.
Robert practices in the firm’s Lansing office, focusing on helping startups and small businesses deal with the legal and business issues that arise during a business’ life cycle. Part of doing business is also dealing with disputes, and Robert assists clients in all aspects of litigation, from contract breaches to partnership disputes. Drawing from his previous career as a Youth and Family Advocate for Lansing Teen Court, Robert has also created a niche practice representing college students in criminal and student conduct matters.
