LANSING - Foster Swift is sponsoring the volunteer headquarters at the 2016 77th Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid, where there will be more than 1500 volunteers. The event runs from May 24 to May 29 at Harbor Shores in Benton Harbor, Michigan.

"Local volunteers are a key to success for an event like this and what it does for our community," said attorney Scott Dienes of Foster Swift. "Most Senior PGA volunteers commit to at least four four hour shifts so it is important that we support them so they can focus on their role in the tournament."

The Senior PGA Championship was first played in 1937 at Augusta National Golf Club; making it one of the oldest senior tournaments. It holds the history of professional golf with winners like Don January, Arnold Palmer, and Tom Watson. At this year's tournament, Jack Nicklaus will be onsite at Harbor Shores.

The event starts off on Monday with a day of practice rounds followed by a Pro-Am tournament on Tuesday. The championship will begin on Thursday with first rounds and continue until final rounds on Sunday.
