Julie Fershtman’s Book Wins National Award

Julie Fershtman’s newest book, published in 2019 by the American Bar Association, titled Equine Law and Horse Sense, just won its fourth national award on May 31, 2021. It was selected to receive a Finalist Medal for the Animals/Pets category in the 2021 Next Generation Indie Book Awards.   

Fershtman’s book is a 372-page paperback that covers numerous topics relevant to the horse industry, including contracts, liabilities, land use, risk management, sales disputes, insurance, veterinary malpractice, and numerous others. It is designed for individuals, businesses, and organizations in the horse industry, along with the attorneys who serve them. This is Fershtman’s fourth law-related book. 

The 2021 Next Generation Indie Book Awards are presented by Independent Book Publishing Professionals Group (www.IBPPG.com), which is the largest International awards program for indie authors and independent publishers.
