Nicole E. Stratton
Nicole Stratton earned a perfect 4.0 GPA as an undergraduate, where she majored in pre-law and took an active role in student government. Earning a full tuition scholarship to attend Michigan State University College of Law, Nicole was an active member of the MSU Journal of Medicine and Law and completed an externship at the Michigan Tax Tribunal where she prepared files for judges' review, attended hearings and drafted opinions, reviewed filed exceptions, and researched other tax related questions. She graduated summa cum laude with a cumulative 3.90 GPA. She received Jurisprudence Awards for highest overall ranking in five courses.
After participating in the 2008 Foster Swift summer associate program, Nicole returned to the firm's Lansing office in 2009 after graduation. Currently the majority of her time is spent in areas of health care, corporate law, and tax law. Although early in her career, Nicole is quickly gaining expertise in the areas of HIPAA and HITECH compliance.
