Lisa J. Silverthorn, CP
Lisa Silverthorn has been a paralegal in Foster Swift's Trusts and Estates Practice Group for more than twenty years. Among her many accomplishments, Lisa has successfully completed the administration of several multi-million dollar estates, including federal estate tax clearance, without audits or delays. She has also helped to resolve significant individual income tax matters with the IRS. Lisa is known for expertise in estate and gift tax as well as fiduciary income tax.
Lisa earned an AAS degree in paralegal from Ferris State University and graduated with highest distinction. After completing her education, she earned her certified paralegal certification (CP) from the National Association of Legal Assistants. Additionally, she belongs to the State Bar of Michigan Legal Assistants Section and is a member of the Ingham County Bar Association.
