Frank T. Mamat is one of the nation’s preeminent labor law attorneys, and focuses his practice on complex labor issues, with a special focus on union matters, contract negotiations, unfair labor practice litigation, National Labor Relations Board practice, organizing attempts by unions, mass picketing and violence, secondary boycotts and pressure, and Federal and State OSHA matters. Frank is known for his accessibility and responsiveness to clients and considers himself on-call 24/7/365.
He is a member of the College of Labor & Employment Lawyers and is annually selected as one of the Top 100 Labor Lawyers in the U.S. by the Labor Relations Institute. Frank was also selected for inclusion in the upcoming 2010 edition of Best Lawyers in America, the recently released 2009 Michigan Super Lawyers list and has been selected for inclusion in dBusiness magazine's 2010 Top Lawyers in Detroit list. He is a member of the National Labor Relations Board's Practice and Procedure Committee for Region 7 (Michigan). Frank also teaches labor law at Wayne State University Law School where he is Adjunct Professor.
Frank also serves on local and national boards of directors where his input on labor and employment issues is highly respected and he is labor counsel for several major employer associations.
