Representative Matters
- After multiple plaintiffs filed a lawsuit against his client, Alex immediately filed a dispositive motion to dismiss the complaint. At oral argument, Alex successfully convinced the Court to grant the dispositive motion and dismiss plaintiffs' lawsuit in its entirety. The Court went on to order the plaintiffs to reimburse the costs Alex's client expended to defend against the lawsuit plantiffs initiated.
- After a lawsuit was filed by his client against a defendant, Alex played a substantial role in successfully defeating a dispositive motion filed by the defendant to dismiss the complaint and further convinced the Court to order the defendant to pay the attorney fees and other litigation expenses accrued by his client as a result of the defendant's dispositive motion.
- On the very same day that Alex filed a quiet title action on behalf of his clients, Alex successfully convinced the Court to issue an injunction which prohibited the defendant from entering onto a piece of land so that his clients could enjoy the full benefits of it. Thereafter, the Court went on to quiet title in the piece of land to Alex's clients.
- Alex played a substantial role in successfully convincing the Court to award a judgment for over $1.61 million dollars in favor of a corporate client in a complex environmental litigation matter.
- Alex successfully convinced a case evaluation panel to award $750,000.00 in favor of a corporate client in a commercial land-lord/tenant litigation matter.
