Enforcement of Red Flags Rule Delayed - Again

The Federal Trade Commission ("FTC") has further delayed enforcement of the Red Flags Rule until June 1, 2010.  The Rule would require certain organizations, including hospitals and physician offices, to develop and implement identity theft prevention programs to help identify, detect and respond to patterns and practices that indicate identity theft.  The FTC had previously delayed enforcement of the Rule until November 1, 2009.
