The Michigan Library Privacy Act is an important law for Michigan Libraries. This session will focused on the key elements of the law as well as common misperceptions. It also discussed important policies and procedures a Library should have in place to address requests for information or inquiries from the police, the media or patrons about library patrons and events that occur in the library.
