Three Foster Swift Attorneys Elected as Shareholders

Lansing, Mich. -The law firm of Foster Swift Collins and Smith, PC is pleased to announce the election of three new shareholders: attorneys Alexander Ayar, John Inhulsen and David Russell.

Alex Ayar’s law practice focuses on commercial litigation, involving real estate law, business, construction, environmental, employment, municipal, strategic transactions & alliances. He also practices in the general business transactional area, assisting businesses in their operation and corporate structure. In addition to his robust practice, Mr. Ayar is a Fellow of the Oakland County Bar Foundation, the Immediate-Past President of the Chaldean American Bar Association, as well as a member of the Federal Bar Association, the Oakland County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce.  Mr. Ayar earned his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School.

John Inhulsen practices in firm's Grand Rapids office.  He is a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group and his practice includes representing clients in business litigation, real estate litigation, construction litigation, noncompete litigation, insurance litigation, and criminal defense matters. He is very active in the community, including serving on the March of Dimes Board of Directors, Broadway Grand Rapids Board of Directors and the MSU Alumni Club of West Michigan Board of Directors.  Inhulsen completed his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University and received his juris doctorate from Michigan State College of Law.

Working in the Lansing office, David Russell is currently a member of the firm's Trusts and Estates practice group, focusing in the areas of wealth preservation, business law, real estate law, entertainment law, probate and estate administration, and related litigation in these areas.  In the community, he serves on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Lansing, the Blood Services Committee for the Lansing Chapter of the American Red Cross and teaches classes at Northwood University.  Russell received his undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University and his law degree from Michigan State University College of Law.
