Complex Closure of Business Operations

Assisted in the closure of a client's business operations due to the economic climate. Responsible for issuance of notices under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) and successfully negotiated a plant closing agreement with the Carpenters union. Also involved in COBRA continuation notification and compliance issues.
